BRAZIL 2000 MINISTRY TRIP UPDATE (November 2000)                    
Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Brazil 2000 power evangelism outreach was an extraordinary success. There were 110 persons in the ministry team including the leaders Randy Clark of the St. Louis Vineyard, and Bill Johnson of the Bethel Assembly of God in Redding California. We spent 20 days in Sao Paulo, Piracicaba, Curitiba and Recife. We ministered in nine different churches (Assembly of God, Foursquare, and Episcopal), ranging in size from 500 to 2000 attendants. This ministry trip totally exceeded our expectations. We witnessed God at work from a very close range, like persons healed instantly of various illnesses.

The following is a few of the more dramatic healings reported by the prayer team:

• A man with emphysema who had smoked 45 years was healed instantly. He was running around the building ahead of the pastor who prayed for him, and who was getting out of breath! The man also did not need his hearing aid the next morning, as the Lord had also healed his hearing overnight.
• Back pain due to misalignment was healed. The back was straightened out and healed of all pain.
• A teenager with the right leg about 1 1/2 inches shorter than the left. The Lord lengthened her leg so they both matched and so when she walked there was no more of a limp. She was dancing for joy!
• A woman healed of Parkinson's. She was able to drink a full glass of water without any tremors.
• A man's eyes, injured in an accident, went from being able to see only shadows to clear vision. 
• Five-year-old girl with glasses couldn't see very far in front of her. After prayer, she felt the presence of Jesus, and said, "He healed my eyes".
• A woman in her 30's who dealt with spiritism had been paralyzed on her right side from a stroke and had not spoken in 18 months. Within minutes of her renouncing spiritism in the name of Jesus and receiving prayer, she began to speak. Feeling also began to return to her arms and legs.
• An elderly woman, about 85, with back pain, chest pain, and numbness in her hands, was 100% healed.
• A young woman thanked a team member for praying for her in Spanish so she could understand. The team member speaks no Spanish.
• There were many many more healings. Altogether, of the reported, but incomplete statistics, there were 2,551 healings and 964 salvations and rededications. More reports from Brazil are expected.
