210,000 Before the Throne They came from all over Brazil and many parts of the world to attend the monumental celebration "Worship and Adoration before the Throne", sponsored by the Igreja Batista da Lagoinha, and participated by thousands of churches throughout Brazil. The encounter provided the stage for the recording of the 4th CD entitled "Preciso de ti" (I Need You). The gigantic gathering brought 210.000 people to the second largest stadium in the world - the Mineirão, located in the beautiful city of Belo Horizonte (Beautiful Horizon) in the state of Minas Gerais. There were small and large caravans of people arriving at the city of Belo Horizonte for three to four days before the event. The constant arrival of people put a tremendous strain on traffic and hotels of the region. Many traveled three or four days by bus, train, car and other means of transportation to get to Belo Horizonte. All the streets, and boulevards were clogged and lined up with hundreds of buses on both sides of the streets. Many of the buses became hotels for a day or two, and many slept on the stadium grounds, waiting for its gates to open at 3 pm. The "Worship and Adoration before the Throne" event started around 6pm with dancers and worship bands. Eleven songs were recorded that evening on the CD. The audience participation was complete. They were totally absorbed by the spectacle and the strong presence of the Lord, who was the main reason for the gathering. That was a night to remember.
