God Loves Me

The bible contains a tremendous amount of scripture verses that describes with stunning accuracy how God loves and cares for us as his unique creations. You will find statements of how God seeks you, His kindness to you, His forgiveness for you, His blessings for you, disciplines you, is concerned about you, accepts you as you are, hears your prayers, frees you from your sins, and loves you forever.
When reading the verses below, pause, then ask God to reveal what he is telling you. Try to capture how God sees you, how much he values you, and how He longs to have a relationship with you.

GOD LOVES ME
Deuteronomy 23:5  However, the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you.
Jeremiah 31:3  The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness".
John 16:27  "No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God".

GOD GIVES ME ETERNAL LIFE
John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 5:24  "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life".

GOD CREATED ME IN HIS IMAGE
Genesis 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

GOD CARES ABOUT ME
Nahum 1:7  The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,

GOD PROTECTS ME
Psalms 91:14  "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

GOD DELIVERS ME FROM EVIL
Matthew 6:13  'And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

GOD CALLS ME CHILD
Isaiah 45:11  "This is what the LORD says-- the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands?
Romans 8:16  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
I John 3:10  This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

GOD RESTORES ME
Psalms 23:3  he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

GOD REDEEMS ME
Isaiah 43:1  But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Isaiah 44:22  I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you."

GOD IS ALWAYS WITH ME
Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Psalms 23:4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

GOD IS CONCERNED ABOUT ME
Exodus 4:31  and they believed. And when they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

GOD IS JEALOUS OF ME
Exodus 34:14  Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

GOD SETS ME APART
Psalms 4:3  Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him.
Jeremiah 1:5  "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

GOD CALLS ME FRIEND
John 15:15  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

GOD'S LOVE FOR ME IS UNSHAKEN
Isaiah 54:10  Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Romans 8:38-39  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

GOD TAKES GREAT DELIGHT IN ME
Psalms 149:4  For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.
Zephaniah 3:17  The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

GOD IS MY REFUGE
Deuteronomy 33:27  The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, 'Destroy him!'

GOD BLESSES ME
Genesis 49:25  because of your father's God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb.

GOD NEVER ABANDONS ME
Deuteronomy 4:31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.

GOD RESCUES ME
Psalms 18:17   He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.

GOD IS MY SHEPHERD
Psalms 23:1-3  The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalms 100:3  Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

GOD GRANTS ME MY HEART'S DESIRE
Psalms 21:2  You have granted him the desire of his heart and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah

GOD LISTEN TO MY CRY FOR HELP
Psalms 22:24  For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

GOD ACCEPTS ME
Psalms 27:10  Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.

GOD DOES NOT CONDEMN ME
Romans 8:1  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

GOD IS CLOSE TO ME
Psalms 34:18  The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

GOD SUSTAINS ME
Psalms 54:4  Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.

GOD IS MY REFUGE
Psalms 91:2  I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

GOD KNOWS MY THOUGHTS
Psalms 139:2  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

GOD LEADS ME
Isaiah 41:13  For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

GOD IS MY STRENGTH
Psalms 18:1-2  I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

GOD IS MY POTTER
Isaiah 64:8  Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

GOD GIVES ME A NEW HEART
Ezekiel 36:26  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

GOD IS KIND TO ME
Joel 2:13  Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

GOD IS ON MY SIDE
Romans 8:31  What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

GOD RESTORES TO ME LOSSES
Joel 2:25  'I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten-- the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm-- my great army that I sent among you.

GOD GIVES ME GOOD GIFTS
Matthew 7:11   If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

GOD SEEKS AFTER ME
Matthew 18:12  "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hill and go to look for the one that wandered off?

GOD KNOWS MY NAME
Exodus 33:17  And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."

GOD DELIVERS ME FROM DARKNESS
Colossians 1:13  For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.
